KOHAT: A constable of Frontier Reserve Police (FRP)was among three killed in different incidents in parts of the district on Monday. FRP Constable Qaiser Abbas was on vacationin his hometown Ustarzai Payan, when his rivals shot him dead. Accused Turab Ali and Shahad Ali were nominated in the FIR by the family of deceased. Similarly, rivals killed one Wahidullah in Ghamkol Afghan refugee camp. Police registered a case against the unknown killers as the deceased family didn’t nominate any accused. Meanwhile, a man was killed by his cousins following a family dispute in Mohammadzai Town on the Hangu highway. Police lodged an FIR against an alleged accused named Uzaifa. The police stations concerned are making investigation against all the three murder cases. Police foiled an attempt to smuggle several forged Afghan passports including vehicle registration documents and number plates during snap checking at Kohat-Japan tunnel toll plaza on Indus highway. A police spokesman said that during snap-checking of vehicles, the police stopped a suspicious car and recovered forged Afghan passports, eleven fake vehicle registration documents and seven Pakistani number plates from it. The police arrested an accused Mudassar Khan of Muslim Town, Peshawar, and started investigation.
